Futuro
One of my favorite homes would have to be the Futuro Home.
It was designed by Matti Suuronen in the late 60s, and early 70s. The entire home is made out of Plastic, Fiber glass and polyester.
The construction for these homes stopped in the 70's, due to the cost of gasoline tripling during the Oil Crisis. This made the production costs for the plastic increase drastically.
There is a fan site you can check out at www.futuro-house.net to see more pictures.
